Unlike the traditional, wide, glasses which only release the aromas out in the the air this narrow, bulbous glass helps to enhance and focus the tastes of your cognac. The finely tuned shape of the glass helps to marry the taste and aroma, lowering the sharp alcoholic taste and emphasising the bouquet of flavour.

You will be surprised to detect no pungent fumes but only delicately balanced aromas, reminiscent of a summer meadow.

Created by Georg J. Riedel in the late 1980's the Vinum line was specially crafted to offer an introduction to Riedel glasses at a lower price point. The Vinum line adheres to the strict quality and design rules of Riedel but by using advanced mechanical processes is rendered more affordable.
