This decanter defies gravity - and we challenge you to defy its charms.

The best decanters introduce an element of show and theatre to every bottle of wine. The Riedel Touch decanter rests solidly on its bulbous body, always looking like it might tumble but never moving.

Each of these Riedel decanters is made entirely free-hand meaning the glassblower does not use any moulds or guides but, instead, crafts the decanter entirely by hand.

As these decanters are being blown and crafted by hand the Riedel Glassmaker (A qualified glassblower entrusted with creating Riedel decanters) introduces a rod of magnesium oxide in to the red hot, molten, glass. This strip colours the length of the decanter creating a unique and eye catching contrast.

PLEASE NOTE: due to the hand-crafting, small tolerances in the size and weight of each decanter, tiny bubbles, slight imperfections and surface variations, are a feature and acceptable part of the process.
